Charles Francis Judson was a physician who resided in Philadelphia, PA who published several articles on pediatrics in the early years of the twentieth century. Judson was also a mountaineer who authored an article on the Col de Balme for the American Alpine Journal and whose climbs between 1888 and 1892 are listed in Early American Ascents in the Alps. His collection of photographs contains 12 pictures of the Swiss Alps by various photographers. Several of these images are attributed to the noted mountaineer and photographer, Vittorio Sella.
